A new flexible workspace is set to open in Worcester.
Developed by International Workplace Group (IWG), it will be based at the Vinegar Works and will be the company’s only Signature branded location in the Midlands.
IWG said it forms part of its global expansion and offers another flexible workspace option for growing demand in the region.
Mark Dixon, chief executive and founder of IWG PLC, said: "We are establishing a stronger and much-needed footprint in the Midlands with this latest opening.
"As an important business hub, Worcester is a fantastic place for us to boost our expansion plans.
"We are very pleased to work in partnership with Vinegar Works to develop the Signature brand under a management agreement that will add a cutting-edge workspace to their building.
"Our opening in Worcester Vinegar Works comes at a time when more and more companies are discovering that flexible and platform working is incredibly popular with employees, improving their work-life balance and satisfaction, while also providing a multitude of benefits to companies.
"Our workplace model is proven to increase productivity and allows for a business to scale up or down at significantly reduced costs while providing access to thousands of locations."
The new centre will feature private offices, meeting rooms, coworking options, and creative spaces, and allows companies to tailor their space through IWG’s 'Design Your Own Office' service.
Vinegar Works will retain its independent brand and on-site leadership with Bee Pettifer continuing to oversee daily operations.
Mark Stansfeld, owner of Vinegar Works, said: "Becoming part of the Signature collection allows Vinegar Works to enhance the experience we offer our members through global access and premium benefits, while remaining true to the character, quality, and community that define our workspace."
IWG’s research highlights the economic and business impact of flexible working, forecasting that hybrid models could contribute up to £46bn in gross value added (GVA) to the UK economy annually by 2045.
The company estimates that by 2030, 30 per cent of all commercial real estate will be flexible workspace.
IWG recorded its highest-ever revenue, cashflow and earnings growth, with more new locations signed and opened in 2025 than in the entire first two decades of its operations.
