A449 closure: Diversion in place for resurfacing work

A STRETCH of the A449 is set to close overnight for three nights to allow for resurfacing work.

The closure will be in place between the junctions with the A4133 Main Road at Ombersley and A4025 Stourport Road at Crossway Green from June 18 to July 1.

It will run from 8pm to 6am each night.

Worcestershire County Council will carry out the work with an alternative diversion route via the A449, A450, A442, A38, and A4133.

A separate diversion will be in place for HGVs via the A449, A442, A38 and A4133.

Access will be maintained for properties without alternative entry points.
