A MAN has been charged with using a Blue Badge issued in Worcester in fraudulent activity.

Yacqoub Ibrahim Mohamed, 26, from Tower Hamlets, is accused of one count of using the disabled person’s certificate in connection with fraud.

Mohamed faces a second count that on January 24 in Tower Hamlets he made a “false representation” to the local borough council in relation to a penalty charge notice that had been issued to a vehicle.

The defendant is accused of knowing that displaying the Blue Badge in Empson Street at the time of the penalty on January 11, 2026, “might be untrue or misleading”.
