A man caught with half a dozen illegal drugs is among the latest people to be sentenced at Worcester Magistrates' Court.
Every day, scores of people go before the magistrates court, receiving punishments ranging from a fine to up to six months in prison.
Here is who has appeared in the dock at Worcester Magistrates' Court recently:
Luke Harborne
Age: 30
Address: Gregorys Bank, Worcester
Harborne stole alcohol and energy drinks worth £69.50 from the Co-op, Barker Street, Worcester, on May 6.
He was fined £100.
Nicholas Bentley
Age: 44
Address: Sansome Place, Worcester
Bentley stole food, valued at £21.95, from Tesco Express, High Street, Worcester, on April 5.
He was fined £120.
John Connors
Age: 32
Address: Main Road, Cropthorne
Connors stole packs of steak worth £47.75 from Lidl, Broadway Road, Evesham, on April 17, followed by chocolate and biscuits valued at £80 from Tesco, Cheltenham Road, Evesham, on April 20.
He was ordered to pay a total of £127.75 in compensation.

Nicolae Madalin Munteanu
Age: 39
Address: Fletcher Street
Munteanu drove a Vauxhall Insignia in Worcester city centre while disqualified from driving and without any insurance.
Munteanu was handed a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and banned from driving for 18 months.
What is a suspended sentence?
Matthew Schramm
Age: 45
Address: Ferry Lane, Offenham, Evesham
Schramm was found in possession of crack cocaine alongside several class B and C drugs, including lorazepam, pregabalin, zopiclone, dihydrocodeine, and codeine phosphate, in Pershore on October 7, 2025.
He was fined £120 and the drugs were forfeited to be destroyed.

Liam Flatley
Age: 20
Address: Jubilee Drive, Kidderminster
Flatley drove a Seat Ibiza on Green Street, Kidderminster, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in his breath was 58 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, with the legal limit being 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres.
He was banned from driving for 16 months, reduced by 16 weeks if a reduction course was completed by April 25, 2027, and fined £443.
