An estate agency is swapping viewings for a night of sport, community and charity.
Your Property Box has teamed up with The Worcester Arms to host a World Cup fundraiser in support of the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust.
The event, centred around England’s World Cup fixture against Panama, will take place on Saturday, June 27, at the Battenhall pub.
Andy Jones, director of Your Property Box, said: "At Your Property Box, we believe our role in Worcester goes far beyond property.
"We're incredibly proud to be an independent local business and feel it's important to support our community whenever we can.
"Working with Sam and The Worcester Arms is exactly what supporting local is all about.
"It's two independent Worcester businesses coming together to create a great event for local people while raising money for an incredible local charity.
"We hope the event encourages people to shop local, use local businesses and see what can be achieved when Worcester works together."
The event will begin at 5pm with live music from 7pm to build atmosphere before kick-off.
A charity raffle will take place during the evening, with all proceeds going to the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust.
Prizes include an official England shirt and items donated by businesses across Worcester.
Guests can enjoy a special World Cup menu, featuring a burger and a pint for £15.
Sam Roberts, owner of The Worcester Arms, said: "The Worcester Arms has always been about bringing the community together, so working alongside another independent Worcester business on an event like this is fantastic.
"We're looking forward to welcoming everyone for a great evening of football, live entertainment and fundraising.
"We want to fill the pub with England fans, showcase what our local pub has to offer and raise plenty of money for an incredible local charity at the same time."
Located in the heart of Battenhall, The Worcester Arms is known for its welcoming atmosphere and community focus, regularly hosting quiz nights, live music, and sporting events.
The pub recently unveiled its Hawkstone Bar and has partnered with The King Charles House to serve locally inspired pub food and Sunday lunches from Friday to Sunday.
Further plans are in place to expand both the food offering and events programme.
For Your Property Box, the event is an extension of its commitment to supporting the Worcester community.
The independent estate agency is known not just for its work in property sales, lettings and management, but also for its involvement with local causes and businesses.
Mr Jones said that teaming up with The Worcester Arms for the World Cup evening is a way to demonstrate how independent businesses can have a wider, positive impact beyond their core services.
Both Your Property Box and The Worcester Arms hope the event will be a chance for Worcester residents to come together, celebrate sport, support a meaningful charity and enjoy the best of what their city offers.
