A climate and nature crisis is set to be screened for the community.

The People’s Emergency Briefing, a 45-minute film presented by TV naturalist Chris Packham, will be shown at The Fold in Bransford on Sunday, June 28, at 7pm.

The film captures key moments from the National Emergency Briefing held at Westminster Central Hall last November, where top experts and more than 1,200 MPs, peers and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and the media assessed the UK’s exposure to climate and nature risks.

Screenings are being held at more than 1,600 community venues across the UK.

Suzanne Savage, managing director of The Fold, said: "We're pleased to host The People’s Emergency Briefing because it provides a clear and balanced introduction to the climate and nature crisis and examines how these issues are already affecting everyday life in the UK.

"We’re looking forward to bringing people together for an honest conversation about these challenges and how communities can respond."

Admission is free but booking is recommended.
