A free creative writing workshop for children is set to take place at Worcester St John's Library.
Organised by Spark Young Writers, the event on Saturday, August 1, is aimed at children aged 8 to 12.
The session, which runs from 10.30am to 12.30pm, will be led by local writer Ken Preston.
The workshop will provide a platform for youngsters to explore storytelling, experiment with new writing styles, and let their imaginations run wild.
The event promises fun writing prompts, creative challenges, and opportunities to explore different genres and techniques.
Children will also receive guidance and encouragement from experienced writers.
The workshop aims to build confidence, nurture creativity, and help young writers discover new skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.
For those who enjoy the workshop and wish to continue their creative writing journey, there is an option to sign up for the full programme at sparkyoungwriters.org.
