Dropping a cigarette in London has ended up costing a Malvern man over £500.
Jonathan Wynn, of College Road, Malvern, admitted to littering in Islington on January 27.
The 60-year-old was found to have thrown down or dropped a cigarette on York Way and left it.
At a hearing held at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court, north London, on Tuesday, September 1, Wynn was fined £300.
The court also ordered for him to pay £150 in costs and a £120 surcharge, bringing the total he has to pay to £570.
