A 22-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a baby' s body in a recycling plant.
The body of the newborn baby girl was found at a site in Cambridgeshire on Wednesday, but came from one of 7,000 homes in Worcester .
On Saturday, your Worcester News exclusively revealed the body, which was concealed in a green recycling bin, had come from one of four waste trucks operating in the city last Tuesday, which included a round from St Peter’s.
Concern for the baby’s mother sparked an appeal for her to come forward so she could receive medical attention.
A police spokesman said: “She has been bailed and inquiries are on-going.”
