A ROAD remains shut after a vehicle crashed into a building.
A stretch of Blackwell Street, in the Horsefair, Kidderminster, was closed following the accident at about 2am on Saturday, August 30.
Engineers were re-assessing the damage today, and the road remains closed to traffic although it is open to pedestrians.
Diversions have been set up via Radford Avenue, Birmingham Road and the ring road.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
One - a 24-year-old Kidderminster man - was charged with the offences and bailed to appear before Kidderminster Magistrates on Thursday, September 11.
The other, a 30-year-old Kidderminster man, was released without charge.
