STUDENTS in Worcester have the opportunity to follow the success of a local lad and make it big in the field of house music.

James Dean started playing his funky sound at the age of 16 picking up his first two residencies at the infamous Birmingham clubs Marco Polo’s and Tin Tins Nightclub.

Now, following gigs all over the world in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Taiwan and South Africa to name but a few, he has decided to return to Worcester for a residency on Fridays.

His new night, Fundamental Fridays from 9pm till 4am at Keystones in Copenhagen Street, Worcester, is attracting a following for a style of music which will elevate any crowd to hit the dance floor and remember why they love house music so much.

His style of music is striking vocals, rolling beats and euphoric house sounds, which leaves crowds wanting more.

Over the next few weeks there is the opportunity for local DJs to take over the music for a short period and try and impress the dance floor. The winner of the competition will play alongside James Dean live at a top Birmingham club for his Christmas show.

Would-be DJs should contact James Dean via his myspace.com/ jamesdeanfundamental or attend the evening on Fridays.
