A MAN who breached a court order by visiting his ex-wife late at night and calling her a ‘slag’ has been fined.
Kevin Pitt, aged 27, of Tolladine Road, Worcester, has a conviction for assault and harassment against his ex-wife, and had been ordered not to visit her.
In July last year, Pitt went to his ex-wife’s house at 11pm and banged on the door demanding to see her.
Mrs Pitt told her ex to leave, bolted the door and called police but he stood outside the house and started calling her a slag.
Officers eventually caught up with Pitt at his parents' house and arrested him.
Pitt was found guilty of breaching the court order after a trial in October and was ordered to pay £650 at Worcester Magistrates Court.
Passing sentence, District Judge Bruce Morgan, said: “There is nothing worse for a woman than getting a knock at the door at 11pm and being called a slag.”
Pitt was fined £100, ordered to pay £250 compensation to his ex-wife and £300 in costs.
