THE nation’s original television chef Rustie Lee is backing a Worcestershire food festival.

Mrs Lee will add her own special touch to the Heart of England Fine Food Theatre at the Worcester Feast three-day bash with two daily cookery demonstrations.

Her larger-than-life approach to her show often is set to be a big hit with audiences from Friday, September 4 until Sunday, September 6.

Festival visitors will get the chance to meet Mrs Lee in person - as well as signing copies of her latest book 'A Taste of the Caribbean'.

She’ll also be on hand to answer anybody’s cooking dilemmas.

The pro-chef will be bringing some of the recipes from her book to life, showing people how to create an authentic Caribbean taste using produce grown in Worcestershire.

The festival is taking place throughout the city and will be hosted at the cathedral, its grounds and the nearby Commandery.
