THE British Heart Foundation is asking people in Worcester to get on their bike and help save lives.
The Worcester Bike Ride takes place on Sunday, July 5, and is suitable for families and cycling enthusiasts alike.
It offers a choice of a 32 or 48-mile route through scenic Worcestershire countryside.
Laura Edwards, regional events organiser for the British Heart Foundation, said: “Cycling is a great source of fitness and fun and it’s never too late to take it up.
"By taking part in the Worcester Bike Ride, people can help make a difference to the lives of people suffering from heart disease.”
To enter the Worcester Bike Ride, please visit bhf.org.uk/worcester or call 0800 169 3672. Registration is £10 for adults and £5 for under 16's - who must be accompanied by an adult. Registration on the day will be a higher fee.
The event starts and finishes at Worcester Racecourse and begins between 9am and 10am.
