YOUNGSTERS at a nursery in Worcester brought in their favourite cuddly toys and had a teddy bears’ picnic to raise money for charity.
Children at the River School at the Brook Nursery, Rose Bank, off London Road, also enjoyed playing hide-and-seek during the fun day.
Older pupils were allowed to come into school in non-uniform and nursery pupils were able to bring in their favourite teddies in exchange for making a donation to Action Medical Research.
Some of the money raised by the River School was also put towards a new pa system.
Manager Maggie Hall said the nursery pupils raised £21.50 for the charity which is dedicated to improving the health of babies and children. Special teddy biscuits were provided by the nursery for the picnic.
