A TOWER has been presented to a Worcestershire town to represent its links with another town in Europe.
Representatives from the Droitwich Spa Twinning Association gathered with Mayor Maureen Lawley and town councillors to officially unveil the tower.
The gift was presented to Droitwich by the Bad Ems twinning association last year as part of the celebrations of 25 years of the towns’ partnership.
It is hoped the colourful and artistic gift will enhance Victoria Square and further cement the relationship with Bad Ems, in Germany, where similar towers can be seen.
The bold tower was made in the style of Hundertwasser, an architectural ceramics factory in Bad Ems.
Members of the twinning association have recently returned from a visit to the town which included a tour of the factory.
