A CELEBRATION of arts will be held at a Worcester school this week.
King’s Hawford school in Claines will be celebrating its annual arts week – an opportunity for children to be involved in poetry recitals, dance presentations, a music concert and drama evenings.
It involves the whole school, all 360 children, as well as a visiting African drum group and a number of other visiting artists.
Today, about 200 grandparents are due to join the children for a musical event and the chance to have afternoon tea in the grounds, entertained by the visiting African drummers.
The week will be rounded off at the school’s Speech Day on Saturday.
