CHILDREN at a Worcester nursery had a jolly time dressed up as pirates for the day.
St Joseph’s Catholic Pre-School and Nursery also built pirate ships and made special coins for the children to find on a treasure hunt.
Manager Alex Lloyd said: “It was a great day and all the kids had a fantastic time. The parents got involved with making the costumes and some of the outfits were amazing.
“When they were all dancing to the Pirates of the Caribbean music it looked just like a scene from the film.
“They had such a good time they will want to come into school dressed as pirates every day.”
Children at the school, on Chedworth Drive, Warndon, also enjoyed reading swashbuckling pirate stories and singing classic pirate songs.
