Saturday, July 4 to Saturday, September 5 - Top 40: the Countdown of Worcester’s Favourite Pictures!

What’s your number one? Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum will be asking families to vote for their favourite picture this summer in their Top 40 exhibition.

Curators have selected the top treasures from the City’s art collection and decided which they think are the chart toppers. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to say if they agree and the countdown will change every week.

Families can also take enjoy interactives that bring some of the pictures to life.

Saturday, July 11 - National Children's Art Day 'In the Frame'

10.30am to 4pm

Bring the whole family along to help us celebrate this national event.

Inspired by the Top 40 exhibition, participants will be provided with frames and encouraged to create their own masterpiece using pastels, charcoal, paints and an array or other materials. Thursday, July 23 - Miniature Iron Age Village - 10.30am to 12.30pm. Suitable for 5 - 12 years. Booking essential.

Tuesday, July 28 - The Romans came to Worcester - 10.30am to 12.30pm. Suitable for 7 to 12 years. Please bring an empty shoe box for this event. Booking essential.

Wednesday, August 5 - Medieval Madness - 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Suitable for 7 to 12 years. Booking essential.

Thursday, August 13 - A Fanatastical Tudor Feast! - 10.30am to 12.30pm. Suitable for7 to 12 years. Booking essential.

Thursday, August 20 - Design and print like the Victorians - 10.30am to 12.30pm. Suitable for families. Booking essential.

COSTS: All workshops, unless otherwise stated will be: £6.50 for adults; £4.50 per child; a special family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) £17.50.
