An electrical fault caused a fire at a Worcester electricity provider this afternoon.
Fire crews were called to the npower building in Warndon after reports 12.45pm after reports of a building fire and smoke coming from an electrical cupboard.
All staff were evacuated from the building.
Four crews attended the Oak House property on Bridgewater Road and discovered the fault was due to a small mains electrical feed to the cupboard.
Crews left the scene at 2pm.
A spokesman from npower said: "All staff were safely evacuated from the building as a precautionary measure and the building is expected to reopen tomorrow."
