NAUGHTY nuns having fun are about to take Droitwich by storm.

Sister Mary Regina and her chaotic convent hope to have audiences rolling in the aisles when the comedy musical Nunsense hits the stage at the town’s Norbury Theatre.

Never again will the habit been seen in quite the same way following this tale of music, madness and merriment.

Written by Dan Goggin, the production is an hilarious talent show staged by five survivors at the Little Sisters of Hoboken nunnery – the rest of the nuns having succumbed to botulism.

The remaining “Little Hobos” decide to put on a variety performance to raise funds so the last four of the dearly departed can be buried. Of course, nothing goes to plan and more mischief abounds.

There is also a riotous audience participation quiz to add to the laughter.

The show, directed by Alan Humphries, runs at the theatre in Friar Street from Wednesday, October 7, to Saturday, October 10.

It starts at 7.30pm each evening, with a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday.

Tickets are £5 for the first night and £9.50 and £8.50 for other showings.
