A MOTORCYCLIST has been badly hurt after a car crash.
The crash happened in the rush hour at about 5.15pm, on the Kingsway in Stourport, yesterday.
When ambulances arrived crews they found the motorbike under the front of the car, and the rider - a man from Ludlow, behind the vehicle. The car's windscreen was smashed.
“The rider had a possible fracture dislocation to one arm, chest injuries and back pain. He was also knocked unconscious for a short period," said a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman.
The rider was immobilised using a neck collar and spinal board.
"The ambulance crew had to take particular care due to the nature of the injury to his arm," added the ambulance service spokesman.
He was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.
The male driver of the car was taken to Kidderminster Hospital for a check up.
