AN army will descend upon Worcestershire this weekend and all in name of history.
The Armoured Picnic is returning to Spetchley Park, near Worcester, giving people a chance to meet troops from the Mediaeval, Tudor, Napoleonic, American Civil War, and Second World War periods.
The living history event, which runs from 9am tomorrow to 4pm on Sunday will see re-enactors from all over the country camping under canvas and accurately bringing history to life.
