LUXURY pampering sessions, makeovers and the chance to win some fantastic prizes are all on offer during CrownGate Shopping Centre’s Fashion Fortnight, which launches on Monday.

Worcester’s CrownGate will be buzzing with events, entertainment and competitions throughout the event, which culminates with a grand fashion show spectacular on Saturday, October 17.

The fun kicks off on Monday with Nuffield Health, which will be in Bell Square giving advice and tips to shoppers on staying fit and healthy this winter.

Art House Café will also be setting up a free taster table featuring samples of its many dishes, which will run throughout the fortnight.

Also launching on Monday is the grand hamper prize draw. Customers will have the chance to win one of CrownGate’s luxury hampers packed with different products from stores in the centre.

To have a chance of winning, shoppers can pick up a Fashion Fortnight postcard from stores in the centre, fill in their details and post their entry into a special post box in House of Fraser, or enter online at crowngate-worcester.co.uk.

Bell Square will be transformed into a salon with a difference on Tuesday as beauty experts from Boots, Debenhams and House of Fraser give free makeovers to shoppers. Featuring top cosmetics brands Estée Lauder, Clinique and Benefit, the makeovers will run from 11.30am until 3.30pm.

Fashion-lovers can see the luxurious new autumn/winter collection from Gerry Weber during a day of in-store fashion shows, running at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, while Sweet Delights will be tempting customers with a variety of delicious free samples.

Staying stylish at work is the theme of House of Fraser’s businesswear fashion shows taking place in the store’s café on Thursday at noon and 1pm and featuring brands including Planet, Precis, InWear, Linea and Phase Eight.

Culpeper and The Body Shop will be in Bell Square on Friday, October 9, giving shoppers relaxing hand massages and beauty treatments from about 11am, and Whittards will be offering customers free samples of their delicious hot drinks from 11am to 2pm.

Live band Swing to Soul will be entertaining shoppers in Bell Square from about 11am on Saturday, October 10, House of Fraser’s very own Fraser Bear will be giving out balloons to children and Game will be running Xbox competitions from 2pm to 4pm, with the chance to win prizes. The first week will finish with children’s face painters Funky Faces, who will be in Bell Square on Sunday, October 11, from 11am to 3pm.
