THE Liberal Democrats have won a by-election in Droitwich.
The ballot held yesterday saw Stephanie Vale beat current town mayor, Conservative Maureen Lawley, 521 votes to 416.
The Labour Party's 21-year-old candidate for the south west ward, Paul Richards, got 163 votes.
