SCOTLAND’S Battlefield Band are coming to Worcester to celebrate 40 years on the road.
The group, who are credited with taking traditional Celtic music to a contemporary audience, will perform at Huntingdon Hall on Tuesday, October 13.
For four decades the Battlefield Band has toured under the banner Forward with Scotland's Past, their aim was to take Scotland’s rich heritage, strengthen it with modern Scottish culture, and perform modern Scottish music with passion and joy.
Their latest album, Zama Zama, features old and new compositions, including the Nina Simone classic Plain Gold Ring.
