GUIDES and Brownies in Worcestershire are appealing for help from property owners who may have premises they could use for their shop.

Division commissioner Diana Blockley said: “We desperately need to find accommodation to continue the valuable service that we are able to provide to Girlguiding members and their families in the area and for many miles around.

“Our shop is run by volunteers who give up their time each week to staff the shop which sells uniforms, badges and equipment that is needed for the local members of the largest girls- only organisation in the world.

“If someone has an office or space that they could spare we would be so grateful.”

“Girlguiding UK has just launched into its centenary year and it would be fantastic if there was someone out there in Worcester who could help us to find suitable premises.”

The Guides are looking for a room with storage space, accessible during and outside office hours, preferably with parking nearby.

Anyone who can help is asked to call 01905 420980.
