River death man named
A MAN found dead in the River Avon has been named.
Gregory Plant, 24, of Bredon, near Tewkesbury, was reported as missing and vulnerable.
He was seen entering the river at Dock Lane, Bredon fully clothed and wearing a rucksack containing heavy weights.
His body was later recovered by emergency services on Saturday but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned for reports to be carried out.
