A TRAINEE Worcestershire solicitor has volunteered to mentor a student at the College of Law.
Kimberley Wadham-Smith of Worcestershire law firm Thursfields will give advice on a career as a solicitor through the college’s mentoring scheme.
The mentoring scheme pairs up trainees and qualified solicitors with students.
Miss Wadham-Smith, who took part in the scheme herself, will be advising her student on CVs, application strategy and interview preparation among other issues. She said: “I felt the scheme was invaluable to me when I was a student and actually helped me to obtain my training contract.
“It is a great opportunity now for me to support a student to achieve their career objectives, too.”
Miss Wadham-Smith has had experience of commercial property, litigation and probate at Thursfields.
