A BUSY mum will be running in memory of her late sister-in-law to raise funds for a Worcester hospice.

Jules Griffiths, of St John’s, Worcester, is preparing for the Virgin London Marathon in April with a rigorous training regime while keeping up with her hectic personal and working life.

The 40-year-old mother of two sons aged 12 and 10, works as a personal assistant and is hoping to raise £2,000 for St Richard’s Hospice as a thank you for the care of her sister-in-law, Pip Tomlinson, who died in 2008.

Mrs Griffiths said: “I am running to raise money for St Richard’s because of the outstanding care they gave to Pip. They really are fantastic.”

She hopes to complete the race on Sunday, April 25, in about five-and-a-half hours. Mrs Griffiths runs regularly and has started training more intensely since she was offered a gold bond place in the event.
