VISITORS to Bewdley Museum this month will be able to catch a glimpse of life in Wyre Forest during the Second World War in an exhibition called Make Do and Mend.
The display opens on Monday and consists of a host of old photographs, pictures and video footage revealing experiences on the Home Front.
Museum development officer Ruth Finney said it was a special feature marking the 60th anniversaries of Victory in Europe and Victory in Japan.
"It looks at local life on the Home Front in war torn Britain," she said.
The tourist attraction is also holding a separate exhibition in the coming weeks charting the development of the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens in Bewdley.
Ms Finney said the display, entitled Celebration, would also contain photographs and maps showing how use of the gardens had changed over the years.
"People will walk into one of our galleries and see that story as though they're walking in the gardens themselves," she said.
"Then they can go straight into the gardens behind the museum."
An exhibition of work by Kidderminster Art Society also opens on Monday.
