A CHRISTIAN theatre company with a reputation for innovative, challenging and entertaining theatre is bringing a double bill to both Tewkesbury and Worcester.

The Saltmine Theatre Company is performing The Screwtape Letters and The Hiding Place tomorrow and on Saturday, respectively, at The Roses in Tewkesbury.

The Screwtape Letters is adapted from the book by CS Lewis. It is a book of letters from the Demon Screwtape to his nephew Wormwood. Screwtape is training young demons in the art of temptation as they set to work trying to secure humans' damnation.

The Hiding Place is from another book, by Corrie ten Boom. It is a true story of courage, love and forgiveness set in Holland during World War Two. The Christian ten Boom family protects Jews from the Nazis but is torn apart when Corrie and her sister are sent to Ravensbruck concentration camp.

The shows, suitable for people 12 and over, are also at The Swan Theatre in Worcester on June 6 and 7. Call the Roses box office for tickets on 01684 295074 and the Swan on 01905 611427.
