BUDDING poets in Stourport have been invited to write about their town for the chance to win £1,000.
United Press is running the competition and Stourport residents have until December 31 to enter their poems.
Each participant can send three entries, which can be no more than 20 lines and 160 words each.
They should be sent to "Local Poem", United Press Ltd, Admail 3735, London EC1B 1JB.
