LOCAL musical talent will be showcased at a Christmas concert at St James' Church, Welland, this weekend.
The Christmas Musical Extravaganza Concert on Sunday (December 11) will feature young people from the village and will include singing, violin solos and an organ recital.
Singer Megan Howells, who is studying music at Oxford and grew up in Welland, will be performing. James Wall, from Malvern Link, who regularly plays the organ at St James' and is studying music at the Hereford Cathedral School, will also be playing at the concert.
It starts at 6pm and tickets cost £1 with under-16s free. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served and all proceeds are for church funds.
