OLD and new collide in spectacular fashion in the new production of The Snow Queen at the Alexandra Theatre.
Shirley Anne Field (Saturday Night Sunday Morning and My Beautiful Laundrette) stars as the eponymous Snow Queen, who spirits away character main character Kay to her kingdom.
This exciting new adaptation blends contemporary music and characters with a traditional twist, bringing comedy and pop culture to this well loved magical fairy tale.
The show, which started this week, runs until Saturday, January 14. Tickets for The Snow Queen cost between £10 and £18.50 and can be bought by calling 0870 60 7533.
