THE ball has started rolling for a brand new production at Bromsgrove's Artrix this year.

Local theatre group All & Sundry's next big production is an Old Time Variety Show, which is set to start on March 16 and run for three nights.

Preparations are already in hand for the extravaganza and for at least one of the performances the audience will be encouraged to wear traditional costume.

The show will include a selection of music, singing, dancing, drama, and comedy - all depending on who agrees to take part. And Kevin Ward, Bromsgrove's official Town Crier, has already agreed to be Master of Ceremonies.

All & Sundry is encouraging new people to take part and enjoy the experience of participating in the production of an exciting and dynamic show at Bromsgrove's new theatre.

After an informal meeting in Rowney Green Peace Hall at the weekend, auditions will take place this Sunday, starting at 2pm. All & Sundry is not only looking for budding actors and actresses but anyone who wants to be involved.

Those who did not make it to the meeting last week are more than welcome to get in touch.

The nature of the show means many people will be able to participate one way or another. Rehearsals will be Tuesday evenings (generally solos and small groups) and Sunday afternoons (larger groups).
