WHITBOURNE Amateur Dramatic Society is bringing to life a pantomime version of a classic fairytale, that once saved a theatre from closure.
Cinders - The True Story was written by David Tristam and raised enough funds to save a Bridgnorth theatre from a funding crisis when it was originally performed.
Ugly sisters, a glass slipper, Prince Charming and all the usual panto fun are promised at the Whitbourne Village Hall show, directed by Stephanie Carpenter.
Rob Slater, who plays the Hairy Godmother, said: "It's a very funny pantomime, we do one every year and this one really is good."
Cinders - The True Story plays on Friday and Saturday, February 17-18 and 24-25 at 7.30pm, with a matinee performance on Saturday, February 18, at 2.30pm. Tickets are £5 for adults, £3 for children from 01886 821641 or Whitbourne Village Shop.
