WINTER flowers and early daffodils are on display at Barnards Green House, Poolbrook Road, Malvern, on Sunday.

The three-acre garden can be viewed between 2pm and 6pm.

Owners Philip and Sue Nicholls are opening the garden for the final time this year after more than a quarter of a century.

The garden has attracted more than 600 visitors on a single day with funds raised going towards the Worcestershire National Gardens Scheme's charity work.

After the final opening in September, the couple will be selling part of the garden to make way for four new houses.

Mrs Nicholls said the remaining grounds would always be available for charities to use.

The garden is open from 2pm-6pm every Thursday between April and September, as well as on Sunday, April 2, and Sunday, June 18. Entry costs £3 and home-made teas are available.
