MASTER musical mick-takers the Counterfeit Stones are making a triumphant return to the provinces by lighting up stages and theatres all over the country, including the Artrix in Bromsgrove.
The new tour, a Bigger Bong, which kicked off in Hammersmith in February, arrives at the Bromsgrove theatre this Friday, starting at 8pm.
It features note-perfect renditions of the Rolling Stones' biggest hits along with much humour and spoof archive film clips.
The band has put together an all-new version of this multi-media mockumentary.
The show is made up of a blend of stunningly accurate live renditions of the Stones' music a well as gags and pastiche film clips to lovingly (and laughingly) cover the history of the Rolling Stones from 1963 through to the stadium gigs of the 1980s.
