Monday, March 27: Attended meeting of Evesham High School Sports College Management Board, followed by meeting of Evesham Town Council's Planning & General Purposes Committee.
Tuesday, March 28: Attended Evesham Rotary Club meeting and lunch and a photocall (Evesham Journal) for Riverside Award with members of the Market Town Partnership. Arts Centre choir rehearsal in the evening.
Wednesday, March 29: Attended a meeting at Evesham College with members of the community and business people and Ofsted Inspectors. In the evening watched the 1st Bengeworth Guides production of Red, White & Gold at the Methodist Church.
A lovely story acted out well by 32 young guides. Well done all.
Thursday, March 30: Welcomed delegates to the first Vale 100 Business Forum at The Northwick Hotel where members of the business community (& our grandson!) listened to key-note speeches.
Friday, March 31: At the invitation of the Editor, visited Evesham Public Hall to see the first Jobs & Careers Fair (promoted by The Journal). A very worthwhile event which I hope will become an annual occasion. Congratulations to The Journal for this initiative. In the evening attended the Mayor Tewkesbury's Charity Dinner at The Watson Hall.
Saturday, April 1: Joined many other "chains" and approx. 230 people at The Chateau Impney, for the Mayor of Droitwich's Masked Charity Ball. A splendid evening set in fairytale surroundings. All proceeds for the Mayor's charities in Droitwich.
Sunday, March 19: Enjoyed a restful day after a very busy week.
