MUSIC legends, The Hollies, will be rocking at this year's Hole in the Wall concert.

The open-air event will be held at Hopton Court in Hopton Wafers, near Cleobury Mortimer, on Saturday, July 15.

The group who have had more hits than any other British group, including the Beatles, will be joined by Tom the Frop, fronted by Bewdley Deputy Mayor, Max Keen and Bewdley rock band, Amoeba.

The Hollies have had more than 30 top 30 hits since 1963 and were on the BBC's first Top of the Pops, on New Year's Day in 1964.

There are still two original members of the group, Tony Hicks, lead guitarist and vocalist and drummer, Bobby Elliott, in the line-up.

They are joined by bass player, Ray Stiles, Ian Parker on keyboards, lead vocalist, Peter Howarth and guitarist, Steve Lauri.

The Hollies had hits between the 1960s and 80s, including the number one classic I'm Alive and He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother and the group released their most recent album Staying Power, in February.

Last September's Hole in the Wall concert was headlined by Killer Queen, featuring Patrick Myers, who were supported by The Bravo Boys and Amoeba.
