Stourbridge Company began over 75 years ago and was called The Stourbridge Play Readers - later to become Stourbridge Dramatic Society.

In 1998 it was formed into a limited company called Stourbridge Theatre Company Limited.

Recently the company has been instrumental in the provision of tiered seating for Stourbridge Town Hall.

Usually the company do three productions a year.

Performances are in March and late November at Stourbridge Town Hall and, during the warm summer evenings (every other year), in the grounds of Himley Hall.

Alternate summers find them performing at the Bonded Warehouse or another local other venue. This year the company has two outdoor summer productions - Cider With Rosie by Laurie Lee (organised by The Rotary Club of Stourbridge in support of their charities) and Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre. Cider with Rosie runs on June 9 and 10, in the Mary Stevens grounds, Hagley Road, tickets at £10 can be obtained from Books Unlimited,
