REGGAE kings UB40 return to the UK with a homecoming gig at Ragley Hall next Saturday.

The world famous West Midlands band are following their worldwide tour with a tour of the UK forests and other outdoor venues - culminating in the Ragley concert.

IML Concerts promoter Keith Louch said: "We are delighted to be presenting UB40 at Ragley as part of the best weekend of live music we have ever presented at the Hall.

"With Jools Holland on the Friday and the Proms Spectacular finishing the three-day festival on the Sunday, we are aiming to cater for all musical tastes."

"This is the third year we have presented these picnic-style concerts at Ragley.

"It's a fine venue and the magnificent house acts as a picturesque backdrop to the stage."

He said as UB40 are from the Midlands, there would be a huge party atmosphere to end their tour.

And Lord Hertford added: "My family and I are thrilled that Ragley will be hosting such a wonderful weekend of music which we are sure will be an undoubted success."

UB40 has spent the past 20 years popularising reggae around the globe, with hits including Baby Come Back, Food For Thought, One in Ten and Kingston Town.

And at the Ragley Hall concert, the audience can enjoy a picnic and spectacular firework finale, all while enjoying one of the nation's best-loved bands.

Tickets are priced £32.50 in advance for adults (£40 on the night) and £20 in advance for children (£25 on the night). Group bookings of 10 or more adults will receive a 10 per cent discount.
