WYRE Forest entertainer Al Boden is set to play at the Three Counties Show in Malvern over the next three days, starting tomorrow and finishing on Sunday.
His career began in Kidderminster in 1956 on his demob from the RAF, entertaining in pubs and clubs around the area and throughout the Midlands.
Approaching 70 in August, Al has been entertaining for 49 years.
He has been an extra in television shows, including playing a tramp on Sky and Central programmes and has been featured on BBC Hereford and Worcester.
This year he will be entertaining with his novelty band, The Organic Hillbillies, and showing his talents with his singing, guitar and harmonica playing.
