FORMER Cheltenham Town youngster Chris Murphy is set to become Redditch United's seventh summer signing.
The 22 year old was due to sit down with Valley Stadium boss Rod Brown this week and put pen to paper on a one-year deal.
The Reds manager has had to play a waiting game before getting his man as Murphy thought over a number of offers from Nationwide North clubs during a two-week holiday.
Murphy signed for Cheltenham last summer from Telford United and made four substitute appearances for the League Two side. He was previously with Shrewsbury Town.
