WYRE Forest members of the Special Olympics Worcestershire squad won a horde of medals at the Reading Open Swimming Championships.
Gold winners: girls - Lois Farley (25m backstroke), Claire Andrews (25m backstroke), Debbie Allen-Trew (60m freestyle), Marianne Westhoff (50m butterfly); boys - Steven Boyce (100m freestyle), Richie Styles (relay), Richard Allen-Trew (relay), Matthew D Jones (25m freestyle).
Silver: girls - Andrews (25m freestyle, relay), Ellie Jones (50m freestyle), Caroline Allen-Trew (two relays), D Allen-Trew (three relays), Katy Allen-Trew (two relays), Westhoff (50m freestyle, relay); boys - Boyce (50m freestyle, relay), Jamie Dancyger (two relays), Styles (25m backstroke), R Allen-Trew (25mm backstroke), Martin Jones (relay), Matthew Jones (50m freestyle, 25m freestyle).
Bronze: girls - C Allen-Trew (100m freestyle), D Allen-Trew (25m backstroke), K Allen-Trew (50m freestyle, 25m freestyle); boys - Boyce (relay), Martin Jones (50m backstroke).
