NO wonder it's all smiles for these pupils of Chaddesley Corbett's Winterfold House School.

They have been basking in the glory of being successful in the West Midlands Schools' Athletic Association gaelic football tournament in Birmingham.

Under the guidance of coach Julie Breen, the school's A team won the prestigious event to qualify for the forthcoming national championships.

The B team lost narrowly in the semi-final.

Winterfold House also provided the player of the tournament in 11 year-old Charles Newbould.

The school was introduced to the competition four years ago and they have have already made a big impact.

A couple of years ago they reached the national stage and finished runners-up.
