BRIGHT spring sunshine gre-eted the 170 runners who mingled on the village green for the start of Sunday's annual Ink-berrow Fun Run.
Entry fees and donations enabled the organisers to donate £350 to each of the two chosen charities.
The short course fun run was won by Kieren Downey of Alcester ahead of Inkberrow pair James Tesseman and Jake Rainford.
In the 9K 'Bull Run', the vets were led in by Dave Cleverley in a time of 35 minutes and 46 seconds followed by M Selby (36.40) and M Bayliss (37.03).
Carolyn Walker was the first lady on the day in 43.59 with Jenny Love (45.22) in hot pursuit. Lesley Rainford and Jo Ross tied for third after clocking 49.08.
The men's section saw Nick Stringer of Sparkhill Harriers roar around the two-lap course in 33.10 with Inkberrow's Wies Nowacki second (34.52) and Flyford's Chris Ward achieving a personal best of 35.37.
