THE girls' Year 7 football team from St John's Middle School won the North Worcestershire Cup. TOP GIRLS: St John's Middle School's girls' team won the North Worcestershire Cup.
The team defeated hosts Witton Middle School in Droitwich 3-2, with goals by Becky Hall and Alpha Wood (2).
PE teacher Martin Moss said: "The girls' standards have improved with every game they have played."
St John's Year 8 team also reached the final at Witton, but were edged out by Alvechurch 3-2.
