A grant of £2,750 could see Studley's first cinema club up and running by September.
Studley Village Hall Committee applied for the cash from Stratford Council to set up a project similar to the FeckenOdeon at nearby Feckenham which shows modern films on cinema-quality visual and sound equipment in the village hall. Studley aims to duplicate that success for its residents, but still needs to raise £5,000-£6,000.
